This is a little Honda GX160 engine I built a while back using quite a bit of 3D resin printing together with fiberglass and conventional and CNC machining techniques. Some of the resins and filaments available now are showing amazing properties. Its very exciting times in the 3D printing arena. Home 3D metal printers can't be too far away.
The first pic was just to get an idea of the finished engine size and mass. I find this useful. Its very hard to judge this in CAD.
2nd pic was useful for piston skirt clearance (could be done in CAD but nothing like seeing it actual.
3rd. Mould for fiberglass gas tank half.
5th male/ female forms for sheet metal parts
for full engine build video.
Please subscribe to my channel for future engine and boat builds. Thanks
