39'' mono

a friend of mine have a 39'' mono with a k-b 45 , in it, it is still stock and he want to keep it stock, he have a macs product silence pipe on it now, what is a good pipe length to start with.. plus a prop to start with also. will a cmb ex header fit on the k-b ex head.

K&B should have the header/ex adapter bolted on ,theres nothing else u can use if u dont have it ,u will have to find 1. 10" pipe lenth work ur way in 1/4" at a time. an octura x450 ,work ur way up

kind of hull makes a difference too.u should post some pics of the setup/transom

sorry, guys hes running subsurface, first things first, he is a new guy to boats not ready for racing, he told me that he bought the kit from the hobby shop near his home. he have an x450 on the boat and I notice that he had a space between the motor ex and the pipe, about 2'' I think it a macs product silence pipe .

just found out that the pipe is a macs product 6.5cc muffled tune pipe.
