26 pum carb option

I'm building my first gasser after 40 years in nitro I'm building the zipp missle with a stock 26 pum which carb option do you guys recommend the 1048 or the 1027

I like the WT257 better: it's easy 1 on the H needle and 2 1/4 on the low... As it is a stocker you don't need the larger intake area of a 1048

If you are going to run in the Thunderboat class order the 1027 carb. The 1027 is legal to run. I use both the wt257 and 1027 with the same needle settings.

The 1027 is a 257 just renumbered by Walbro for Zenoah sale through Zenoah distributors.
