Attached the bottom skin. Now it's locked down until tomorrow. It's been a challenging but fun build. Big thank you to Roxyflash for his advice.

The Blazer marine Slingshot is an excellent kit to build. Don't be dumb like me and try and hurry while assembling the front sponsons, take your time. You will be happy with the finished product.

Doug,

Marty and I tested yesterday at cedar lake and that
Slingshot from Blazer is an Awesome boat. We tried
about 7-different propellers on it and it still needs more
propeller. The Mike Ross engine with a Roger Payne
929 carb is a Really Good set up. We found the motor
is happy and makes the best power in the low 17,000 rpm
range. Marty has a great set up on his boat, and it needs
a specific diameter for that powerband. I think 74 mph
was one of the better runs we had and there is plenty more
in Marty’s set up. I just need to make him a few more
propellers and that boat will be in the Winners Circle.⭕
Thanks Marty for coming over to Traverse City to test.

Thanks For Reading,

Mark

Build is going great, front sponsons done, rear sponsons attached, cowl trimmed and ready for final cutting of holes and sanding before it goes off to paint.
Wanting to get this in the water by the end of month.
