Noticed that no nitro guys are entered in the thirty inch open class. You guys ain't skeered of no little electric boat are ya?

Enter your mod 20 in the thirty inch open class and see how it stacks up against an FE boat or two.

Rules are any hull 30 inches and under, any fuel. as long as it with an outboard.

Two weeks to the Tri Oval and looks to be mostly an FE race. Just a note on the 30 inch open class. Bill and I wanted to make a catch all class where nitro & FE could run heads up. limiting to 30" hulls allows larger watt FE's and maybe even a .45 nitro to work but makes the handling more of an advantage for power matched setups. Also gives guys with one FE,21 nitro tunnel or even a ModVp another class to have some fun.

High point Bracelets will be for the best 2 out of 3 scores including Charleston for the classes that have run all the events. Certificates 1st-2nd-3rd. . Saturday timmed laps for Florida records and bragging rights.

Mic

My ModVp has lost the hops and darn near got lucky enough for a steal me win last weekend in A stock Tunnel in the howling winds while you girls where in Sowega.

Im ready to play ;)

For those comming to the race bring help as we will be short of pit people with a couple of us on the CD stand when the larger heats are run.. Going to be a laid back race and we will have a lunch break on Sunday with pizza delivered courtesy of STRA. Weather looks good and we will make the best of a small turnout of tunnel fathful.

Still wondering why there are so many locals who are MIA on signing up. Jeez, you'd think that with this being in their own backyard they could at least take two minutes and enter. Might have made a difference to those who live farther out that wanted to attend but saw no interest by the local tunnelheads. So I'm guessing many out-of-towners wrote this one off.

Thanks guys, you wanted a tunnel only race, we delivered. Now you can't even take the time to sign up. <_<

I'm thinking that a few in the area think they can walk up on race day and expect to be 'accommodated'.

You are an accomodating kinda guy that way from what I have heard Bill

Mic I have an extra pair of eyes I can bring with me to help turn judge, just tell her what to look for and do. Be careful though, she fits right in with this crowd , and can dish it as well as she can take it- ask Premo :p Of course I can do some CD/recovery /pit help and turn judging. These races are the best cause your constantly helping and doing. I like that. B)

Mr.Junker, Im looking forward to it- now that the winds wont be blowing 35mph like last weekend I can loose a few pounds of lead and maybe have a chance with those Visions, not sorry about your hops though-lol ;)

Dont know If we will be there Sat or not , but Sunday for sure, see you girls then. Somebody give Britton his meds back would ya

Hey Andy,

We appreciate all you do for us as a part time tunnel racer. You are what makes this hobby worth doing. Always ready to help and now even sacrifice a personal relationship for racing. If she can put up with us she's a keeper  .

Mic

I'm there, late fees and all........ CD on board now. Still waiting for the $350 worth of parts for the mod rebuild, this eve hopefully.

Hey Mic, what does points look like for 20 mod?

In case of a tie we add one pt per heat win and one point per boat that competed in the class.

For the faithful making this race since the turnout is small we can run a best 5/6 heats for 8 classes. One heat Saturday and 5 rounds Sunday (40 heats)

What time are you planning on running timed laps on Sat from and till Mic ?
