I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but due to the very low amount of
entries we have received for the 2010 Gas Nationals, the decision was
made to cancel the event. I made a sincere effort to call many of our GAS
racing members around the country, and after talking with many of them,
the most stated reason for not being able to attend was the poor economy.
i.e. being afraid to take time off from work, to just not enough money to
make the trip.
We are still having the records trials scheduled in October 16 - 17, and 2
more in November as listed in the master event schedule in this issue of the
Roostertail.
