Lamar Who is going to CD the 2010 Spring Nats Event......? How Much Experience does he have?? It is a Must to put a Experienced CD in the Stand that has the Respect of the Fellow Boaters & CAN CONTROL the ENTIRE Event!! If Not?? Can we get a Sargent of Arms in the Tower with a 18 shot S/W 45 cal? & maybe 1 - sniper rifle? So the rest that Do attend can actually Race??

Joe,

I am not 100% sure @ this time. I know Norman Morton & Don Huff (Dad) will be involved to some extent. I am also trying to bring in a "guest" CD that has been behind the mic for several large events here recently. Unitl he commits or takes a pass I would rather not mention names.

Gather up the crew, load the red wagon, and come on down! We will take care of the rest for you!

Thanks,

Lamar

Joe,

We completed 168 heats, plus run offs & the Twin Shootout in TWO DAYS... If the race was as "out of control" as some people would like for you to believe there is no way we could have finished the event. It would not have been physically possible. Were there some issues? yes... Could we have done some things better? yes... Admittedly, we learned a LOT...

This year each racer will be given a copy of the IMPBA code of conduct @ check in. We will go over the code and some additional AMB ground rules @ the driver's meeting. We will not hesitate to DQ any violators. We will have more eyes on the stand to help with making calls. With 8 boat heats and the pace we run it is impossible for one man to see EVERYTHING... It is unfortunate that we have to officiate to the lowest common denominator, but if that is what we have to do... That is what we will do.

We hope to see you there in April!

Well, being new to district 13, IMPBA. and anticipating attending the Spring Nats.

One of the requirements is to have your scale boat registered, and proof be sent with entry?

I don't see a district scale director listed, so will I be able to run in scale, without being registered?

Thanks

Rick,

Admittedly, my knowledge of the Scale rules is spotty at best. I will check into it for you and let you know something ASAP...
