Hey Gang,

With Twin Gas Rigger now being an official class I wanted some feedback...

Do you guys want to keep the Twin Shootout Nitro only or open it up to the Gas Twins as well?

We do not have room/time to add an additional class so it's either Run-Whatcha-Brung Twin Hydro or Twin Nitro Hydro...

Thoughts? The Twin Pilots have really supported the Spring Nats over the past 5 years. I value your input...

Lamar

EDIT : THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK GANG... WE WILL RUN THE NITRO AND GAS TWIN RIGGERS IN SEPERATE CLASSES. WE WILL JUST RUN FEWER HEATS OF ANOTHER CLASS TO GIVE THE GAS TWINS A SLOT ON THE ROSTER. THE TWIN SHOOTOUT WILL REMAIN A NITRO ONLY EVENT AS IT HAS BEEN FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS...

My personnel thoughts are keep it NITRO!!!! Down south it has become one of the best twin races for nitro! Thanks for the survey,Jeff Lutz

1) Do like they did in Charleston.

2) Run the race IAW IMPBA rules (Pit bosses, Referees, CDs, etc.)available at all time.

3) Allow Tunnel Hulls to run.

There is a large number of Twin Nitro contestants. And there is always a good turn out. Keep it Nitro. Twin nitro is the most attention getting class .

Merry Christmas

Hey Gang,

Well... That's about enough feedback. We will leave well enough alone! ;)

The Twin Shootout has definately become the highlight of the Spring Nats event! No matter what, I make sure I am high atop the tower to catch the last heat... NOTHING else quite like it!

Thanks for the quick replies. I hope you and your families have a very Merry Christmas!

The entry form for the 2010 Spring Nats will be out in early January!

Jeff, Now you know both classes have their own set of rules?? This is NITRO TWIN HYDRO CLASS, NOT Multi-Engine Class........ WE raced under Multi Engine SPECIAL class Rules BEFORE..... the Class rules were written & placed in the Rule Book...... Now Why would we Not want to Follow the Rule Book??? Merry Xmas Mr. Jeff. jw

joe there's so many rule now that it slipped my mine., merry christmas to you to.

run both or run them in seperate class...some of you guys want to keep gas out of stuff... sound like to me we got a some of scared chickens that are afraid GAS might clean house??...you got to go with the flow boy's.. times are changing...with nitro fuel and parts are going up very much and are costly to run ..guys are switching over to gas...its just like not letting the FE boy's run....I dont care if its FE,nitro,or gas along as it's fast,is cool in my book..I dont own any gas boats as of yet, just nitro's boats..but my boyfriend does have a gas hydro....we're all in this together,we all run R/C boats..I'd thought this was subpose to be a fun hobby not a knockout drag out fight??

Bring your Nitro Twin to Atlanta in April to race..... TALK is CHEAP!!!!!!!! Rules are written for both Classes. I dont know a single Twin pilot that is afraid of anything. Sometimes that is a disadvantage to the others...
