JimZaremski Well-Known Member Joined Feb 17, 2011 Messages 775 Oct 7, 2014 #3 no. only the last inch or so is the antenna. see below; if your antenna wires are gray/black with the last inch or so silver, then only the last inch matters. everything inside the gray insulation is shielded and is not the antenna.
