Hello everybody .

This is a enquiry from Australia . I have a fibreglass hull that I am putting together as the Red / Yellow American Speedy Printing . I have the motor positioned with the exhaust flange at the rear of the sponsons and I am trying to make a radio box with enough space in it for all my radio gear in front of the motor . I plan to put the fuel tanks each side of the motor . So far with regard to the balance point , it is 85 mm behind the rear tip of the sponsons . How different do other members find the balance point on these boats compared to what I have . I look forward to reading your replies .

Regards

I try to keep my ballence piont a little closer to the rear edge of the sponson ( around 20 to 30 mm) That way it is a little easier to get it up on plane. But thats just me.

I'd be looking for somewhere in the 25 to 50 mm range. I agree with Wes, try to get it to 35mm or less
