1967 Miss Budweiser.

This is the boat that was rushed into service in 1966 after Don Wilson was killed in the old Exide boat.

Painted in the Red/White/Gold cofiguration that only ran in 1966 in San Diego and 1967 in it's last race at Tampa.

Killed driver Bill Brow in what the 1968 Bernie Book calls "The Most Spectacular one boat crash in Thunderboat history."

The model was built last year and only raced twice. Wood with removable radio box. Setup for CMB .67

Comes with Motor Mount, Skid fin, rudder, stuffing box, shaft, 16oz fuel tank, radio box.

SOLD! On it's way to Montana

Pretty boat. If you dont mind me asking, do you know where in Tampa they ran in 67 ?? My dad knew Bernie back in those days and always claimed he got a ride in the Bud boat. If memory serves, he had a place here on Davis Islands in the downtown Tampa area. Sorry to sidetrack your sale. ;) Just wondering if that would have been the same boat??

The boat they ran to replace this one in 1967 had two seats. The one they ran in 1965 had four seats so most likely it was one of those two boats.

How did it run Harry?
Mike
Well we never really had time to trim it out. It is very fast and light so it also went very high!

The boat is really skinny, as are all old round nose boats from that era. I think I am just better suited to my nice wide T-3. Heavy, but very stable. I am too old for boats that react as quickly as this one.

I agree, you are too old.

Do you have some printers lined up to start the season with? I've only called about 10 times, lol.
