I have a two wing 98 Chrysler Jeep needs a little work but still in good shape. I also have a 93 Circus two wing that needs some work.

I need your e-mail and I can send you pictures. The Circus needs some paint work around the canopy from a collision. Most of the damage has been repaired. The cowl needs some paint work. It was set up for square drive depending on your preference you may what to update. All the hardware has been removed but I can put it back together. Speed master rudder. I will include a new radio box. $600 plus shipping

Chrysler Jeep has some racing scars that have been touched up. Rear wing has some prop marks on the bottom but top is fine. Cowl needs some black paint work. $800 plus shipping

I will take pictures tonight of the Circus.

Both boat are good running boats and are still very solid.

I have this wood Newton 102 hull and cowl. It is new and has the motor mount tnuts installed ready to install a mount.

I am sorry I can not hold my mouth any longer. Have you ever owned or built a scale boat before? There is allot of time and money that goes into these hulls. From what I have seen that people have offered you or showed you is DAM good prices. Plus Bert's boats are built top of the line like a brick sh*t house and the price he gave you WOW! I know times are rough and maybe you feel you could get more for nothing but please. You should post up front so people know what you are looking for. I.E. ( Wanted used 1/8 scale 80's or newer style with not allot of money to invest.) If you have something in mind already ask for that type hull please. I would have to second the motion. As any good scale ie. paint and harware less motor min of 500.0-700.0 If you want to get into it plan on at least 1200-1500.0 to be competitive and reliable.

i have been model boating since 1983 i have owned a dozen scale boats over there years. the last scale i purchased was a steve muck 72 notre dame less engine in good shape for $350 shipped.no where did i say these boats were not worth the money i just dont need one i would like another but im looking for a good deal thats all.

I'm not trying to stir the pot but I've noticed that several people on this site put an add out that they want something, but want it for nothing. I had a guy wanting OPS parts. He was all over me to get back to him because he wanted to buy what I had. When I got all my engines and parts out and sent pics, he said oh thats to much for me. I felt I gave him a very good deal. Everone wants to race but no one wants to pay for it. I understand time are hard but it is an insult to tell people their price is to high when its a good price. Just my two cents..

I will second that as well.I have owned raced Berts hulls for about 4 years or more and one in production almost done and for his 93 circus that was his boat he won 2nd place with in D2 2002.thats a fair price since now bert is selling his raw hulls a heck of alot more then the deal he gave for the jeep and circus.Just my 2 cents Shann

I've seen Berts & Dougs boats upfront and in person,,they are nice and well built scales...
