Thinking about building a 1/4 scale outboard kneeler, how do you think one would run with a 3656 2030kv UL-1 (spec or limited) motor and 4s of course.
I'm thinking this is the way to go, I've seen video of Jerry Dunlaps nitro one running a stock OS aircooled swinging a 440 prop, I know a UL-1 motor can turn more prop than that easily on the stock esc possibly at a higher rpm.
Any thoughts? This project hinges on the spec power plant and 4s1p open esc.
If it sounds like a bad idea I have other projects in mind for the winter so it's not the end of boating as I know it if I don't build one.
