1/10 scale size

Maybe a dumb question but is 1/10 scale close in size to a sport 40 or sport 21?

It's more close to sport 40. I think they are around 30-34 in length, just a bit to big for sport 20

They're close to Sport 40 but make sure you get a overall length. I ran into that problem with my 1/10 scale Bud T-6 kit thinking that it would work. It's 1" to short to run in sport 40. I extended the length and flattened the rear. Now all is good. I would also widen the 1/10th scale 1".

I got My 1/10 scale kit from ML Boatworks and had Mike get rid of the inverted transom and just make it flat. That way it would be legal.

I guess it has a lot to do with the length of the full scale boat.
