Yes Rick. The online instructions for the 45 and up hulls show the rudder depth as 3 3/4" from the surface of the hull. The 20 instructions show 2 3/4" depth from the hull surface

    Seaducer 20 hybrid

Blade length can make a huge difference. Also rounding the bottom vs flat bottom. If you are worried about making it too short, start 1/4-3/8" deeper than instructions. IIRC the blade starts out over 1" too long. If boat gets too loose, or if water too rough, you can tighten the boat up by...

    Is the OB class doomed?

Yes. That is one of the late Harry Byrne's maximizer pipe adjusters. Usually mixed with the throttle to shorten pipe at top end. First pic is a different boat. No Maximizer and servo adjustable motor mount.

Help WD 40 OIL might be bad

That's the stuff I use on my equipment. It is very t acky when the solvent g lashes off. It is recommended for external surfaces on outdoor equipment to prevent corrosion like the lanolin based stuff. Very waxy and soesnt wash off with water. Perhaps it is easily dissolved with gasoline.

Help WD 40 OIL might be bad

Are you sure you don't mean LPS2? LPS3 leaves a heavy waxy film. I use it on my mill and lathe ways and bed to prevent prevent rust from condensation. LPS2 leaves a thin oil layer to protect.

    Vintage novarossi

Sorry Mark. I don't carry bearings for the newer NR 21's. 2514 and 607 for the SS and early 14mm crank LS motors is all I carry. Too many special sizes for NR.

    Vintage novarossi

I think that I have some 2513 bearings in stock. I have several early SS motors and parts as well. I know that I have 2514 bearings on hand.

    Bearing Istallation

Best bet to fixture is a 0.001 slip fit to a mandrel and a drop of CA glue to fixture. Or a shrink fit to a steel mandrel. Heat to 350 to remove mandrel. I'd be careful removing 2mm from race. May weaken the case. If case breaks while running there won't be much that is salvageable. Have you...
