That’s a nice looking mount! That’s a big problem we’ve had with the gas lowers is that the mounts wear out quickly due to the weight and vibration from the large gas engines, leading to a lot of slop and eventually causes handling issues.

Does anyone know if David ever finished this project? Would be cool to have to open up the .21 outboard options. Between that and the .45 CMB adapters from Joern and a few others, will be a lot easier to get some tunnels on the water.

Yeah the Nelson .45 is an awesome motor. In stock form it’ll run with any of the Nova .46s out there with a good piston fit and Irwin stamped pipe. That one there looks to be one of the older short stroke engines and yes that looks like the correct piston/sleeve for it. Looks like the spare...
