    ISO Fuel Bag Holder

PETG seems to give me the best result for this project. I have tried several chemical and oil resistant filaments but PETG was the right solution. In the end I feel like PA (Nylon) was hard to print and was brittle if not exactly right in the print. I will post pics of my final print.

    Insane T2 Engine Mounting Templates

These are a couple of new printing projects I just finished. This is an engine mounting system for the Insane T2 and Altamotive's solid shaft setup. It insures perfect alignment using drop mounts. The first item is for marking your drill holes once you are comfortable with the transom distance...

    ISO Fuel Bag Holder

Here is the STL file. Let me know if you have any issues with it. I highly recommend that you print this using PA (Nylon), ABS will not withstand the fuel and the micro organisms in the pond will eat PLA. PETG is also a good choice and a little easier to print than PA. D

Hey Jerry, I am not really in that business however I will post the STL file here for anyone that wants to print one

    ISO Fuel Bag Holder

Okay this design turned out really well. It weighs nothing and is very strong. I am struggling a little bit with printing Nylon (PA) as it is pretty particular. However my last two prints have been very close. It should be fuel and waterproof with a lot of strength. I should be able to change...

    ISO Fuel Bag Holder

I am looking for a lightweight fuel bag holder that allows for easy change out of the bags. Can anyone offer a suggestion? I have seen the wire units the span the rails but I am looking for something with a little more substance. Thanks, D

    New Cowl Mount Idea

Grim, working on that. Again the material will be everything. It will have to have to be a balance between the rigidity to keep the lock and the flexibility to remove it. Like I said I will have to put a thumb tab of some type on the back to be able to exert pressure to disengage the balls from...

    New Cowl Mount Idea

I think there are two considerations here. First we would want to mount these in a way so that they were replaceable. Since they will be composite at some point you will break one and want to replace it. Secondly the material will be the most determining factor. It is important that the edge of...

    New Cowl Mount Idea

No magnets, it is all 3d printed. The shape allows is to "snap" into place. This is a pretty solid lock so I think it will hold even in rough water.

    New Cowl Mount Idea

I am working on a new cowl mount system for my thunderboats. These are pressure plates where the ball will snap into the holes on the other plate. One mounted to the cowl, the other mounted to the boat. If this works it should provide a positive lock while still preventing a lot of damage to...

    Mylar floatation bladders

I am considering trying some custom mylar flotation bladders. I have found that I can buy 6 mil mylar rolls that are fairly inexpensive and can be easily cut and glued and sealed. Has anyone done anything like this? I am primarily looking at doing this for my Insane T2 Thunderboats for the...
