Rich...I have not personally tried 2k over lacquer base....but have read both good and negative results....I need to do a test myself on that.... Also...after a week of drying....I'm going to do a test with gasoline on my freshly painted cat...I will pour pure gas on the paint to see the...

Well lacquer paint has been fuel proof on cars for like 60+ years in the past when it was being used then...and when I sprayed it in the late 70's..but not much resists brake fluid...and the amount of fuel a RC boat uses plus its mixed with oil.....yes....fuel proof...you can bath urethane paint...

If you could see the overall condition of the hull...it looks like everyone took a ride on it already....I have to do some fiberglass work to hold the top and bottom together...and some super thin areas that can be seen through with light shown into the hull...it's almost to the point of a good...

Ok..that sounds simple enough...and the g10...that doesn't need to be super thick does it...like 1/16" stuff?

Hello guys... Just finished a paint job using the product mentioned in the title... It's a lacquer based product and in my opinion rather expensive for what you get...non the less I gave it a shot.. Now I know a lot of people will com.ent about the lacquer base....and "it's not a urethane"...
