The gas and open classes are really stacking up. I can tell you guys that we do race 6,7, & 8 boat heats in Chesapeake. You will have to race. No give-me classes if possible. Also, offshore will not be what anybody expects. The current course will be changed directly before open water on Friday...

I personally like the Stalker Pro. It is nice unit,and you can find some good deals on Ebay when they are listed! Also used the Garmin Gecko hand gps which is real small and very accurate. Can mount right to the radio box or wherever. Just another option,and like the Stalker gun,you could find...

Do like Don and Lohring said,and add one of these circle collars on your shaft if you have room. If you get bitten by a pond monster or turtle,you will still save your shaft and prop! Check out my pic below and it should answer your question and give you a idea of what we are talking about...

Stands look nice but a bit pricey! You can build those for $10.00 in materials! But like SKCS said,would be good for people who dont have a Depot or Lowes around. Happy 4th,and Happy boating! Mike
