    Slingshot inspired twin rigger

Thank you for the nice words. Yes lots of tape, though I only need access in 1 hatch and not all 6. There are 4 compartments ( like the titanic...) so hope it has enough bouoncy if something goes wrong. I showed the underside painting, but also made a smaller deck logo. And then finally not all...

    Slingshot inspired twin rigger

The home stretch is nearing.. Had all rigged up before starting painting. What a difference a coat of clear can make: the color of the carbon fibers suddenly become alive. Also did a bit of lettering on the bottom.

    Need HELP Boss or G6

What do you want to do with it? Would base my choice on that. Are you bound to an insane rigger or open to other choices as well?

Direct in China: look on the websites that sell stuff from China, found mine on Ali Express, but there are several of those chinese based ebay like sites

You got my curiosity sparked, so ordered one as well. Can't believe they only cost 55$ incl shipping!

    Looking for feedback

But these are not Savox servo's Alex: they look like Savox, but are from China. I have them in my rigger and so far so good ( 4 days of driving). I only doubt the force they advertise: 25 kg might be ok, but the 30 kg definately are not 30 kg servo's

    Need help!

Yeah this is 838. So with the documentation were they advise 25000 rpm, simply devide the rpm by the kv and you know how much volt you can run. So around 30 Volts, or 8 S. Buy batteries that can handle high amps, so high C value: 40 minimum and you'd probbaly need around 7000mAh for some decend...

    Need help!

Chris, I can't find any reference to the engine you specified. However a bit of math will help here: usually the max rpm of an electric motor is 50000, your engine is 8.38kv, meaning 8380 rpm per volt. 50000 rpm/ 8380 = 14,7 volt to have it run 50000 rpm. The voltage of 12 S pack ( or 2x6S) is...

    Gas pipe setup

Ideally you measure the lenght of the pipe from the center of the sparkplug to widest part of the pipe. But most commonly used measure is from exhaust port to widest part of pipe. As Roman remarked the BZM is indeed basicaly a 40 or 50 cc size cilinder, so the distance from center of spartkplug...

    Gas pipe setup

With O ring you need water nipples for cooling, otherwise the O-rings burn-up. This is a bit of a sensitive system, though it works for most. I'd try a slip fit pipe: very little that can go wrong there and you only have to worry about the o rings at the exhaust flange. There are many producers...

What do you have now and what do you want: O-rin or clamp?

    Slingshot inspired twin rigger

Some more, albeit slow progress. Tank halves are now ready. In the end decided for full carbon as a small part of the bottom half would show behind the booms, ruining the complete looks. A small effort and $$ investment now will pay off later (The white you see in the picture is just tape...

    Twin engine hook-up question

Great, thank you. Though I can not mix channels, other than gas and steering, it's re-assuring it will work. As soon as that part is done you'll see the pictures in therigger hydro sub-forum.
