    Bill, Given most of the hydro classes are racing in the 80mph+ range, might be a good idea to come up with something better. I didn't hit it head on, merely snagged one with a sponson.

    Bill, Will likely pass on the race, the system in place causes too much damage if you get in to one. A lot of competitors at the Nats had their boats tore up during the course of the event, myself included, and the IMPBA rules state that: "Buoys shall be any object non-injurious to hulls".

    Jim, Thank you for the information. Looking at your photos, in regards to shortening the stone length, it looks like the length reduction is split and taken equally off of both ends of the stone?

    Jim, Question on your post #146 in regards to maintaining cylinder roundness, you stated you could maintain roundness within +/- .0005 and wanted to confirm it wasn't +/- .000050 given the resolution on the Sunnen gauge you showed in one of your posts.

    Jim, Would it be possible to make a brief video of the honing process? Also, Do you plateau hone the liner as you approach your final bore size?

    Get well soon Terry and you're spot on in your message, I work in a Cardiac Cath-Lab and we get patients all the time that didn't listen to their body and come to us in dire straits, and for some, too late. Take care my friend.

    Tim, Thanks. A little over a year ago it was out of production due to certain components not being available according to the rep I spoke with at Redline. They said they were searching for new suppliers for those components.
