Yep, but is there less penetration between those surfaces? I have been running 14-16 % low viscosity oil 60% nitro in 101s. The bearings seem to doing very well.

Vac 91

Is the Spalling D/T heat load or poor lubrication? All 3 Caster with its high h flash point helps with heat but it has a high viscosity and probably doesn’t lubricate as well as a low viscosity oil. I am just starting to run a Vac 91 in a resurrected CS so interested in those with experience...

Spray everything but the black with silver. Then top level red, silver stripe around it/thin detail tape. Next level yellow, stripe and then the rest blue. The orange detail stripe tape is the best. 1/4 and 1/8. Get it at any car paint shop

I have a complete motor. It needs a piston/ sleeve. Bearings are quite new and in excellent shape.

Have been using oil for over 20 years. Doc’s oiler initially. I use synthetic motor oil. Everything that rotates creates a sine wave. Thus with grease if you look closely at your shaft when you take it out there will be areas WITHOUT grease and areas with grease. It will also turn the grease...

For better strength I use milled fiberglass. When mixed with 2 part epoxy it is like having mini re- bar in the epoxy. I get mine from Airplane Spruce. Very inexpensive.
