Finished up my ARD Assault 48. Hydrodipped in orange python skin film. Planted a Quickdraw HT 27 in it. One of the meanest engines I ever owned.. Promodeler servos, all Speedmaster hardware. Can't wait to get her out on the water!

For those who have tried them, are these radio's any good? They claim 2000 meters (1.24 miles) of range when using the rc6gs radio with the r8ef receiver. Incredible if true.

The Speedmaster rudder is thicker and won't fit in the control horn. I thought about shaving one down to fit but would prefer the Gardner rudder simply because it works very well on my specific set up.

All great choices. Don't forget about the Dan Ellison sport hydro. Very fast and stable. Plus Dan's craftsmanship is top notch!
