I would point out to people that you added a center rear sponson (ski type) to this boat which changes the setup from Andy Browns intensions, especially with the lifting wings still on the rear of the boat.

The .90 was always 4 1/2” wide plenty wide for the big block Cmb’s which are a lot wider than a K90.

If it’s a triple rear sponson SG there is not much difference between the SG and SGX and it would come down to setup for rough water. I won a lot of races with a SG 90 back in the day. Jeff Lutz

Speedmaster hardware or even Seaducer should be fine. I don’t remember seeing trim tabs on these boats but you could certainly mount them.

I watched him win SAW at the 1990 Internats with one this size with a .67 in it. I’m not aware of a larger one. Yes, I’m not a electric guy and I don’t promote it, but this would be a awesome electric project. Todays .45 nitro would also be fast fun.

I’ve heard he ran 45’s,67’s and .80’s in this hull. It’s a lot different than most monos but held many records.
