Al, my thoughts are it is not worth it. Glow plug bodies are made of free machining steel, mainly to save on drilling tools when making the holes. If one was to use SS I suspect it would be 400 series like 416 for example as it machines easier than 300 series like 316. Even 400 series can...

Terry, just to keep history straight, Mike couldn’t have been third. Andy Brown, Joe Ingrao and John Finch all did it the same weekend in that order around 1998 in Huntsville. I was told I was 4th when I did it in 2001. The .45 was arguably their best engine for sure though.
