Thanks for the help so far. I'll probably end up with a cat and Zenoah. I don' want to race as I live in Iowa and haven't found too many racing contacts at my local hobby shop. But I do want speed. 53 years old and still enjoying toys.

As a newbie to this sport and wanting at least a 40 inch hull (deep vee or cat), would you recommend going nitro or gas? Also want something with a clutch. I have previous experience with both (1/4 scale Zenoah Sprint Car and am now playing with EK4 Truck with .70 Thunder Tiger Nitro Engine)...
