I take it you are running 1/4" cable? Some use a teflon liner but I use just the 5/16' brass tube so I would just solder a short piece of next size tube over it. Brad

You can get Okume plywood from boat building shops in 4' X 8' sheets in 2mm and they are us marine glue and are Lody's of London approved for maine use. Brad

Thank you all for the well wishes!! I returned home yesterday after a 2 week stay in hospital and i'm on the mend but taking it easy for a bit. The not being able to catch a breath is still scary as hell and don't recommend it to anyone!! Thanks Guts Brad
