    6S LiPo Hydro prop suggestions

welll...it runs. just did the one quick run today after the racing was over. Seems to have a pretty good turn of speed (lots of potential here), but the turn fin kept lifting the right sponson. Design change required here. But all in all, I am a very happy camper!!   no...

    6S LiPo Hydro prop suggestions

Jim, gets wet tomorrow hopefully.... weather permitting (pouring down at the moment). It's a club race day, so will probably just consist of a few laps, not major sorting out. Jason... the power system should be equivalent to a B-Hydro, but the weight is a little higher. I think this...

ive just finished an electric mono , on 6s

as the guy that ran the TREX motor in an El-Lobo, performance was interesting, but ultimately the experiment failed. The motor got too hot when pushing the performance envelope. The boat ran much harder when I used the 6S TP5000X packs over the EWatts 4400 packs. Very surprised that the...

Scott, ta mate, I have actually been in contact with Ron regarding the seaducers and he has provided some really useful advice. Yep, agree with you about the single pack of 6S thing, I will have to do a re-design for my layout (don't want to split my packs up). But this will all happen after...

Terry, yeah mate, it was a good weekend. Thanks to the Kiwis for the great hospitality. Nope... Shane didn't retrieve his boat... some good gear floating around in the lake :( I'll have to have a look at the pics..... was good to meet you all.

    check this out

nope, not an electric. I believe its a multi-type boat with a geared drive setup (hence the high motor rpm). just my opinion... **just looked at it again... I am wrong. It is an FE in the 1Kg class. (I think the english used to rate their electric boats in this manner). Either way it's fast.

    6S LiPo Hydro prop suggestions

well, race meeting is over. I ended up going to the 1521/1Y motor with a H5 prop. Ran reasonable consistent runs all weekend. Temps were fine (motor was only reaching about 30 degrees C). Batts were taking back 2700 - 3000 mAHr after a heat. Time to build a new lighter boat. If I can lose...

    Say a prayer ......

I first met Dick when I pitted for him at the NAMBA Nats (96 I think?). Lovely fellow... Caught up with him again at Jackson IMPBA Nats in 2004 (when Team Oz visited). Still a great person. I wish him a speedy recovery.... get back out there soon Fella!! Tony Jones
