    Seaducer Hooking...

thanks guys for the replies. Lohring.... I will try that after I change the servo. You may actually be onto it. Jerry.... The boat is not running particularly loose. Dad and I run A-Mono/BMono/XMono and GMono seaducers, so we are not unfamiliar with the brand. I am also running only about 1/4"...

    Seaducer Hooking...

Rick... na mate, thanks for the suggestion anyway. Linear steering, no dual rate. I'll fit the new servo when it arrives and try that.

    Seaducer Hooking...

well... just ordered 1 of these servos to try. 10.2kg of torque (141 oz/inch) http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/u...?idProduct=5260 hopefully this will help..

    Seaducer Hooking...

Robert... 4.3kg/cm is equivalent to 60 ounce/inch. So based on that, my servo should be ok? Maybe I'll try an analog 12kg/cm servo that I have kicking about. Jerry Crowther.... you about?

    Seaducer Hooking...

Hi guys... Hoping someone might be able to provide some info here. I am running an e-seaducer 33". Runs great, but having hooking issues in the turns. Currently using a JR DS811 servo (digital with 4kg torque). Should this be enough, or do I require a higher torque servo? Any other suggestions?

Jim, yep, that's correct. .21 size. We had full 6 boat heats. We use the same class naming for nitro as NAMBA.

Lohring, it was a pleasure to have you guys over.... I'm glad that you were able to continue in the electric class... Nice diving for the batts by the way :) Velcro straps are a necessity :) I did notice that Al didn't dive straight in after them... definate lack of commitment there from...

    Receiver battery

well, for the sake of about $20, why not just install a regulator? At the very least, it will ensure a consistent voltage to your rx system. I am using XtremeLink in my boats - the rx will take up to 30V, but the servos are the limiting factor. The rx doesn't regulate the output voltage. It's...

you definately need to use a voltage regulator. If not for the rx, definately for the servos.

    6S LiPo Hydro prop suggestions

righto.. got pi**ed at the performance of this boat at a recent event, so I have decided to retire it. I will say that I tried a longer rudder and it seemed to cure the tracking issue. Not sure which way to go now 2 options... 1. Wait for either the TAIPAN or ICE-Rigger 4S versions and run...

    33" 6S Seaducer in Oz

logging data to come.... I have real race conditions data... the boat ran real well at the recent World Circuit Racing Challenge held in Sydney Australia. Placed (second to a well deserving Shane Deacon).

I must also note that I changed the motor to a 1521/1Y... seems to suit the 6S setup better.

not using that motor for the boat - so null and void now.
