What class would a Dumas Hot Shot Sprint ABS with a stock K&B 21 run in?

My brother might be interested in that motor. What bottom end would be good to use with that?

What I meant to ask was what radio is easy to adjust the mixture control during a race.

Since we're on this subject...who makes a good 3 channel radio for adjusting the mixture?

Checked the hull and sponsons. Everything is square. As far as running flat goes...it doesn't seem to drag through the water. It dances around pretty good but it stays flat. I do have a water pick up rudder on it...but the reason I went to the sponson pick up is there is to much rudder...

The turn fin is cupped. The water pick up is on the back side of the left sponson. The bottom of the pick up is about a half inch below the water line. The rudder is on the extreme right side of the transom. The strut is offset a few degrees. The angle of the strut is just about 0 degrees. The...

I have an old Pinkert 90 size rigger that prop walks pretty good. Seems like I have to dial in alot of left rudder trim to keep it going straight. I was wondering if anyone might have some ideas to help that problem. Also I'm thinking of running a third channel mixture control on it. Who makes...

What would be a good pipe for the OS? And I assume that if a pipe is added you would run in the modified class.

I have an older OS 46 VR-M that has only had a few tanks of fuel through it. Engine is like new with a 4e carb. I was wondering if that engine in a Sport 40 hydro would be competitive? If so...I would be interested in buying a used Sport 40 with hardware. Thank you for your help. Mark
