2 stroke oil amsoil dominator or redline racing oil? What do you guys run! I got 29.5 im.breaking in from BH hanson
I've ran quick silver & dominator both are good. But Hanson builds a great motor & I've got 2 -29.5's both took 3 gallons before than even better. But just as him what he recommends. Nothing better that straight from horses mouth.

I always used original Lawnboy oil to break in my giant scale gasser planes. I’d run a 1/2 gallon through them and then switch out to Redline. I really liked the Amsoil but it left an awful mess on to clean up but that’s not an issue with a tuned piped boat. I haven’t seen original Lawnboy oil anywhere in a long time so I’d opt for any non-synthetic 2 cycle oil for 1/2 gallon break in and switch to Amsoil, Stihl Ultra or Redline for heat racing using a 10:1 ratio mix like our pylon planes used successfully. so I never "broke in" an engine I just put in some klotz and run them. But here's the thing I modded 6 engines this year and not one of them runs great with all different levels of timing/duration. They run ok but not great. So now Im thinking maybe this is why. Maybe Im never actually seating the rings. There are wear marks on the cylinder though. IDK
