Just under 2 weeks to go until the Hydrofest 2024. Here are the boat counts so far with quite a few guys still missing. If you plan on entering please send your entries to me as soon as you can as we will be dropping classes with less than 3 boats.

The awards are coming out very nicely! A huge thank you to Kevin Sheren for making them.

I remember we had so many entries the nitros ran on Saturday and the gas run on Sundays, the good days of Hydrofest at the GM tech center in Warren MI.

Here are the boat counts as of 8/2/24 after a few adds/drops this week. We are planning on running all classes except for Gas Scale. It looks like it's going to be a nice day....pretty hot so bring lots of liquids. See you on Sunday.
Thanks,
Chris

Thank you Oakland wolverine and Saginaw Bay model boat clubs for putting on a great race today, I want to thank both clubs for all the hard work they did and made the racing go very smooth, and a shout out for Kevin Sheren for the cool plaques and a shout out to Brian Neumann for pitting for me.

Thanks to all of you for coming to support the 2024 Hydrofest. It was a great effort by the Oakland Wolverine and Saginaw clubs along with many additional racers who helped out to make the race a success. We appreciate all of the help from all of you.

I hope everyone marks their calendar for September 15th for the District 2 Challenge that will also be run in Burton at Kelly Lake Park. Boaters From The Hydrofest,

Thanks to all who made this race happen.
Chris C, Bert D, Charles D, Teddy D, and many others.
A Special shout out to: John Beardslee, Brian Neumann,
Mike Nowicki, Dave Murany, Bert Dygert, Teddy Dudley and Pat Mull.
These seven guys had the MOST IMPRESSIVE Boats on the
water yesterday. Thanks for all who enjoyed the day with us.
Maybe next year we can plan a bigger event and work on the
Judging a little bit more. I know it is hard to follow the rule 📕
book with so few people helping to put on the event. Next year
I will be able to help out more once I retire.

Thanks For Reading,

Mark Sholund
