For those of you in IMPBA D2 from the good ol' days I am saddened to announce the passing of Keith Lowry this am. At a young 70 years old, Keith had a stroke this week and never recovered.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending a few days with Keith and Carol, his wife of 50 years, several weeks ago when they visited us here in SE FL. Even though Keith had not been involved with boat racing for many years, he was excited to see how things have changed when I took him while they were here to a race put on by the Broward Model Boat Club. He was amazed how much faster the boats are.
We've been in touch with Keith and Carol on a regular basis since our racing days in the 80's and cherish the times we spent together as great friends.

Keith was a true craftsman and will be missed by the many who's life he had touched throughout the years...RIP my friend.

Photo below is from the early 80's (L-R): Keith, Jerry Badgero, and myself.
