After a long hiatus from the racing schedule the Dayton RC Boat Club is pleased to hosting the Gem City Shootout 2024
When: July 20th. Open Water after 5pm July 19th
Classes: RTR, SS Mono, Thunderboat, Gas Cat, Gas Mono, Sport 20, Sport 40, Gas Sport Hydro, Open Rigger, 1/8th Scale, 1/6th Scale.
Format: 3 Heats. After the first Heat the top 6 in each class be grouped together in the first flight. Final points will be determined based on total score.
Class Rules: IMPBA Rules will be used. In the case of Gas classes both LSG 36 and LSG 27 will run together. RTR is intended as a novice class as any radially available RTR Boat will be allowed.
Registration: Registration will open June 4th on rcRacingEvents.com, payment will be at the pond. Must be a current IMPBA member to race. Registration $25 per person, $15 per boat.
Other Details: We have a business on site that will be operational until 3:30 on July 19th. For parking reasons, we ask everyone to show up after 4pm on July 19th. Open water will be available July 19th from 5pm till 8pm. Drivers meeting on July 20th at 7:30am with racing to start at 8am. 2minute clock will be used.
