Thanks. Was also looking in to the speedmaster adapters, but would like a digital gauge. So if you can built a digital one that would be my preference.
Daniel is not making them at the moment. See this thread post 35:

Nice Alex! I did the first one around 2000. That was my Leecraft XTR21 that I picked up from Tommy Lee when I was doing my internship in Nashville. I first wanted to copy the scheme of the U-6 Frosted Flakes hydro, but could not find the blue paint and then left it out.
After that came the rest...
I like your theme Alex, mine look quite similar although the black fangs are a bit smaller. Used in on all my tunnels and also on a gas Whiplash and gas Canard.
Tnx guys. I will have a look. A friend of mine has a Lathe, maybe he can built me something like this. Not sure if he has the correct taps for the threads, might use an old glow plug for that. The measuring pin is basically lengthened with a thinner pin to get it though a plug size hole? Will...
Thanks Timothy, I had been thinking about it and your explanation confirms it. Will have a look at the adapters. Now also understand how Kris was doing it with a digital vernier. Also agree it works only on a flat piston.
Thanks again Terry for the help. I gave it a thought and somewhere in my...
Thanks Terry, this is for the K&B67 project. Tried you head button today and first need shims. I found a 0,3mm shim in another K&B67 but before TDC the piston hits the button, so i first need to find some shims. Does anyone perhaps know if shims for other size engines can be used for this one...
I bought some plastigauge to measure the head clearance. Have not used this stuff before. What is the best way to use it, can you do the same as with a tin wire and stick it through the plug opening?
Great project Mark, I think you saw the same post on Jims. I sent Ronnie yesterday a PM about some specs of his Jig.
What thickness aluminium did you use, is that 1/4"?
