I was an avid boat racer for many years between 1987 and 1996. I won many races over the years in tunnel, mono, and hydro classes. I took the last 16 years off to raise my girls. My oldest is post graduate in college and my youngest is a rising senior in high school. I have always been an outboard fan, running Leecraft Hulls. I attended my first race in 17 years in 2011 and took second place at the 2011 Spring Nationals in Atlanta in 40 OB Mod. with my Leecraft that was built by the master himself, Tommy Lee. His boats are obviously still competitive and many people were surprised how fast my 16 year old hull was out of the gate. I am still using a 1993 generation K&B that I modified. I am also using John Equi's pipe!!!!! The only disappointing realization was the obvious drop in interest in nitro. I am glad to be back and I look forward to seeing you at the races!!!!!
