My Boat Shelf, this is from IKEA and allows the shelfs to be set at any height desired via adustable brackets. One pole on each end that attaches to the ceiling, on the bottom of the pole is a screw jack that tightens the pole between the ceiling and the floor. Cut the shelf boards to any width you want. Nice easy and compact. When the fleet grows bigger, I add another pole and brakets.
