I used 12 ga. multi-strand wire with standard clips. I added some shrink wrap to keep them clean. The receptacle was bought at Home Depot for $3. Standard one outlet with ground. I bought with a ground so I couldn't accidentally put the plug in wrong and have the starter spinning in the wrong direction. Also in this picture you can see the strap I used to secure the batteries. I bought this at ACO or ACE Hardware for $2.50.
