After applying the double faced tape to the sponson place it on a 1/8" shim so the rear of the sponson sits flat. Then slowly position the sponson to the side of the boat. Be careful and do not try to stick the tape as you will most likely have to do this several times. The tape will grab with just the slightest pressure. The key to a one time stick is to try and hold the inside of the sponson vertical and flat on the shim.
