Yea, she's a big ol' boat!! ... Doesnt look like much in front of the truck. Optical Illusion for sure. I'am gonna see if there is such thing as "RC Boat anonymous". Iam seriously outta contriol over here.. lol.
 
lol!!! Its all good, its a fine stable...so long as breakdowns are one at a time, or else you'll be the owner of a graveyard.
 
Yes, I have a decent sized fleet spread out in the living room?.. Doh!! lol! Ill keep the stable in check Mark, .. and Im not buying anymore!!!!!

Is this the American RC Helicopers Atlas? Do you know.. I can tell you that looking at the pics I sure it is.

Around 1980-84 or so a California company called American RC helicopters made an Atlas hydro (I’m sure it’s your boat). I can tell by the pics that boat is your boat with modifications to the cockpit.



The original was made for a 70cc (hornet) motor or belt drive 40cc.



American RC helicopters made the Revolution and Mantis helis. They got into boating and only a few months later a full scale airplane crashed into the building destroying EVERYTHING.. the molds to the Atas too! (There address was “Airport Road” lol TRUE)



Your boat started as a model of the 80 to 83 or so Blue Blaster. (I cannot remember the year)
