The engine universal is located with a stainless steel stub shrunk in & machined on the flywheel face. The steel stub is a tight fit for the bored universal back end. The male universal is held in place with two 6-32 screws. A hardened steel washer prevents the aluminum flywheel steel stub from spreading when tightening the 1/4- 28 screw. The extra holes in the universal allow the propeller to be positioned in a horizontal position if the engine should stop suddenly.
