Flaps are now installed. They are balsa aerofoil that was channeled on the leading edge to accomodate a length of 5/32 brass tubing. Then the leading edge seams were filled in with microballoons and the entire wing was overlaid with 1.5oz glass cloth and wrapped in mylar until cured. Very strong and very light. A 1/8" stainless rod slips through the nose and through the brass tubing in the wing with siicone tubing as o-rings between the wing and the hull. After the boat is painted they will be secured.
