The new nose was fitted and has 3 points of attachment. There is a pin in the nose that sleeves into brass tubing glassed in the flat section between the canard wings. The other two are in a bulkhead under the canopy.In the process of rebuilding the wings to connect with the cockpit they were also lengthened 5/8" from the original wings to match the real boat. All of the rebuild is glass over foam.
