Since the tub was offset to the left originally and I wanted to mirror it, the entire tub was cut out and moved so that it is now offset to the right 1/4 inch right of center. Since the canard wings also had to be cut I built them back up to the sides of the cockpit with foam and glassed over the entire surface so that it is uniform. I also inserted a carbon rod through the wing that touches each sponson non-trip. Each end is secured with chopped glass and resin and it is secured the same way in the wing. Now the amount of flex along the lateral line of boat is greatly reduced.
