Glueing the outers skins on JAE 45 sponsons. The upper sponson has not been glued. I'm using it to lock the brass tubes perfectly square. When dry I will flip it over and glue the other side. There has been discussion on how to build the right sponson for turn fin. I reinforced each skin with another layer of ply. I will then drill 3 or 4 holes through the sponson and line the holes with aluminum tubes. This will allow bolts to go all the way through and be torqued snug without putting the load on the foam.
