The barrel type load control valve has a teflon friction lock to prevent movement during dyno pulls. It is beneth the visible set screw on the side of the dyno housing. The valve & its .250 dia #303 stainless shaft are one piece. There is an "o" ring seal on the shaft & a teflon washer mounted under pressure between the knurled knob & the rear half outside face. There is no water leakage at the control valve during dyno pulls.
