I used 1/2" marine plywood for the transom and milled the 3/8" off on the bottom half thickness to sit flush with the origional transom sandwitched inside and go all the way down to the floor.
The outer braces ore clamped and epoxyed and taper all the way to the far back of the boat.
Than a bulkhead is notched and bonded to interlock and hold the forward sides down.
Finally it's all glassed in.
