Header pipe pieces can be made in steel or aluminum. The two pieces at the bottom are pipe pressure pick-ups. Notice the machined ferrule seat area at the end of the threaded header in the top two pieces. Inefficient gas transfer from the rectangular shaped liner exhaust window to the round tuned pipe header & pipe will cause losses in the engines HP.
