This fixture allows any angle possible to be made on the threaded steel header pipe. The convex shape of the threaded steel header sits in the concave shape of the flange. Cutting away the top and bottom of the flange allows the threaded steel header pipe to rotate up or down at very sharp angles if needed. After silver soldering, the exhaust window in the flange is cut using this fixture. Any areas, inside & outside, are smoothed & blended with a hand grinder. WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOOVES WHEN GRINDING STEEL BECAUSE THE CHIPS ARE VERY SHARP! Aluminum could be used in place of the steel.
