An accurate rotary table is required to profile the outside of a connecting rod & machine the I-beam center section. It is also used to profile the outside of an engine crankcase; machine all piston internals; etc. Rotary tables come in many different diameters with different veniers. A 10 second venier will do many jobs easily.
